METROPOLITAN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY IS OPEN AS AN ESSENTIAL HEALTH CARE FACILITY – COVID-19 UPDATE
Under the Maryland Governor's Orders of March 30th and March 23rd, our clinic is considered an essential business as a Health Care Facility. We have adjusted our business protocols, staffing and patient on-site capacity in accordance with the requirements for essential businesses.
Accordingly, patients and staff are allowed to commute to/from our facility. We provide the necessary documentation to that effect for our patients.
METROPOLITAN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE – CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)
We understand the importance of continuing your clinical care in a safe and healthy environment. Accordingly, in accordance with CDC guidelines as well as other Federal and State requirements we have protocols in place to ensure the health and safety of our patients and staff.
Proactive actions we are taking:
• MOT employees ensure that everyone is following consistent protocols for washing and disinfecting hands as well as
sanitizing and disinfecting equipment, treatment tables, waiting areas, doorknobs and general areas. Our equipment is cleaned between each patient.
• In order to limit gatherings, we ask that our patients come to their appointments without additional guests. Guests are
welcome to wait outside our offices where chairs have been set up or outside the building. Patients are situated to maintain proper recommended distance.
• We ask patients to let us know ahead of time if they experience the following symptoms: cough, shortness of breath, chills, fever, sneezing with nasal discharge, other colds or flu-like symptoms so that we may reschedule you appropriately in the future.
Our staff is screened as well and those presenting with symptoms return or stay home and follow CDC’s guidelines and recommendations. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.

Welcome To Our Practice
"The staff were understanding and willing to work with me as long as I did my part to better myself. I can’t thank enough
the transportation group that picked me up in the mornings. Overall I made progress due to the regimen
and guidance at MOT."
